I’m not sure what it lacked exactly, because when I try to nail it down, no one specific component felt lacking, but overall there was definitely something missing, keeping this book just short of perfection. Looking for a particular type of book? There are a lot of dialogues in the book, conversations, thoughts of our two main characters that are worth reading and understanding. On the surface, they have nothing in common. The cover art and synopsis don’t really academh much indication that this book is science fiction, but whether you’re anen sci-fi or not, this is a book for every fan of YA.
