They've introduced agent Doggett and Reyes a few episodes God damn that was powerful. . When Mulder was injured in a boat crash, he awakened in a hospital and told Scully that he loved her. Due to this he knows intimate details of Scully's personal life, right down to her "natural hair color" Titianas later confirmed by Chris Carter.
I Want to Believewhich takes place six years later, Mulder and Scully are still in a relationship. Scully was concerned that Mulder's continuing pursuit of the unknown was taking its toll on their relationship and they could not be together if he couldn't "escape the darkness".
However, the film ends with the couple sharing a passionate kiss, and in the "secret ending" after the majority of the credits, a happily smiling Scully is seen in a small rowboat with Mulder, both clad in swimwear, in a tropical sea, having taken him up on his offer to run away together.
Over the course of season eleven, Scully and Mulder search for William. Skinner learns from the Smoking Man, that the Smoking Man, who is Mulder's father, also artificially impregnated Scully, and thus is William's father as well. In the third episode of the eleventh season" Plus One ", Scully and Mulder are intimate again.
In the season 11 finale, " My Struggle IV ", she reveals to Mulder that she is pregnant with his child. The name Scully was also used in film All the President's Menan obvious inspiration for the show, in a list of names who work for the Committee for the Re-Election of the President.
The casting for Scully caused a conflict between Carter and the Fox network. Carter had chosen year-old Gillian Andersonwho Carter felt was perfect for the role. This led Carter to insist that he did not want the roles of Mulder and Scully to become romantically involved.
She has appeared outside The X-Files on numerous occasions, the most notable being in the Millennium also created by Chris Carter episode "Lamentation," in which the main character, Frank Black, visits the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, and Mulder and Scully are briefly seen descending a stairway. In fact, they are Duchovny and Anderson's stand-ins.
An animated version of Scully, which featured the voice acting of Anderson, would appear on season 8 of The Simpsonsin the episode " The Springfield Files ", as well as Canadian animated series Eek!
The Caton the episode " Eek Space 9 ". Anderson provided her voice work for the episode, but co-star Duchovny declined. John obiviously trusts Monica a lot, or he wouldn't have assigned her himself to the x-files.
John and Monica work well together and it's a shame that they didn't get a longer run. There's been a lot of speculation about how far they've gone.
In "Hellbound," we see John at Monica's at 2am, using her phone. A lot of people have said that this implied that they had sex but that it was tastefully done and the creators didn't overdo. For a sort of series finale for these two, the creators gave us "Release.
Doggett gets some much needed closure on his son's death. Monica gets to help out a friend. A interesting thing, Barbara Doggett, John's ex-wife, tells Scully that he could be happy with Reyes if he would just let himself.

At the end of this ep. The series finale "The Truth" doesn't do much of these characters. They were used just to help move the story along and make sure that it wasn't all focused on Mulder and Scully. The last time we see them, Doggett and Reyes are driving away to whose knows where. Let's hope they find some happiness. Alex Kryeck and Marita Covarrubias There hit men but they're in love," was how Frank Spotnitz described these two's odd relationship.
Well they haven't had that much screen time together but from what we have had, we can tell that these two are meant for each other. We first met Alex Kryeck in "Sleepless" as an agent assigned to Mulder but it soon became clear that he was working for the Syndicate, and then a free agent so to speak. We were first introducded to Marita Covarrubias in "Herrenvolk" as an informat to Mulder.
We first see them as a couple in "Patient X" but there closeness leaves much to wonder.
How long have these two known each other. Probably a long time, since they both joined the Syndicate I assume. Only, she betrays him and then gets affected with the black oil before being cured. When they next met, it's in Fort Marlene where Marita is being held. Alex leaves her, refusing to forgive her for her betrayal. When they next see each other, it's Marita coming to bring Alex back to the states from where he's been in prison.
An interesting to note, when they first see each other, they are mean and cruel but later on in the ep. I take this to mean that they have made up. We don't see Alex again until "Deadalive" where he has the cure for Mulder but wants Scully's baby dead. He next shows up in "Essence" before being shot in "Exsistence," the 8th season finale. The next time either one of them shows up is in "The Truth," the series finale. Alex appears as a ghost to Mulder, helping him in the miltary fort and in court.
Marita shows up to be a witness in Mulder's trial where Alex also appprears, prehaps even saving her life.
