Why is it more emphasized and idealized more than any other I've seen? I have also notice a gender trend. Enfp-Intj are typically female enfp. Differences between EII (INFj) and IEE (ENFp). 1. When planning to complete something, INFjs are more likely to focus their attention on the goal itself. Socionics defines their relationship as the "conflicting relations" (if you're My ENFP friends are borderline ENTP so they are not annoyingly.
This means under some circumstances or even by will we could transform into each other. Thus we are a little too alike, even if we are complete opposites hope that makes sense.
Yes, we get along perfect, but I don't think this is enough to grow, if we are too similar. The types in one quadra share the same set of cognitive functions, but in different orders. I think, if one wants to grow, there is a strong need for inter-quadra connection, and combining the four cognitive functions with their opposites.
Maybe I'm not getting it right? Please help me if you understand it better?

Myers-Briggs is built on dichotomy preferences; whereas Socionics is built on IM element preferences. The latter is much more complex. There isn't any smooth conversion between the two, by the way. Concerning the relations you cited: Contrary relations do not exist in MBTT, and Shadow relations do not exist in Socionics; so please don't use the theories' relational terminology interchangably, because it doesn't work.
Is your preference of "Contrary" relations in reference to the idea in MBTT that types should share 3 letters?INFJ-ENFP 5 Year Relationship

If a choice no longer helps INFjs reach their goals, it will be dismissed and discontinued. On the other hand, ENFps prefer to continue pursuing their current option, opting to adjust their ultimate goal in order to fit the current choice.

For them the process or situation is something external from themselves. ENFps are comfortable making changes and adjustments to their decisions quite frequently. INFjs, on the other hand, prefer to not make changes to their decisions. ENFps are often more cognizant of their outwards appearance and are thus better at presenting themselves than INFjs.
INFjs' energy levels tend to improve when they're alone whereas ENFps' energy levels increase when they're interacting with larger groups. INFjs tend to plan ahead, making decisions early.
On the other hand, ENFps tend to prefer a wait and see, more spontaneous approach.
