Some aspects of the story were a bit far-fetched, but I really liked the two main characters and cheered them on, wanting them to be successful and happy in the end. Hannah Howell never disappoint and this is another of her books that is going on to my all time favorite. May not contain Access Codes or Supplements.

Historical Romance, Scottish Highlander, 15th century Scotland. The story is told in such a manner that you can really become lost in it and enjoy it to the end. An edition of this book was published by Penguin Australia. Aimil Mengue and her brother are captured by a powerful, rival laird, Parlan MacGuin. There were scenes however there made me cringe a little. Even though her plots can be a bit formulated, I love to read her books. I’m a fan of Hannah Howell, her names on it I read it.

The romance was well done too, depths to both Parlan and Aimil are seen as time goes on.
