Born Shiro Yoshida, the radiation of Hiroshima in his native Japan killed his mother and later triggered his mutation — control of plasma blasts AKA fire and flight. Turns out that the fight is just a distraction so that Hiro could hack into their files, looking for a way to rescue his mother. The now six members have a meeting with Mr. While the rest of the team agrees to help, Sunfire complains some more from his death bed and refuses, leaving Hiro disappointed.

Big Hero 6 5 goes off to fight Everwraith and after some fight scenes that include panels such as this sexiness, Everwraith seems to have the upper hand.

Seemingly sacrificing himself to defeat Everwraith, the remaining 5 members of Big Hero 6 go off to fight another day and we find out that Sunfire is not really dead. Some time has passed since the end of the previous miniseries and now Big Hero 5 6 is based out of an abandoned amusement park. Hiro now has a rocket suit, GoGo has better control of her richocheting, and the rest of the team are not complete bumbling fools. They call Sunfire for help, but he is busy back in Canada, looking for the scientists who did the experiments on him.

The teams meet and we find out that Honey Lemon calls herself that after her favorite TV show and all the BH6 characters are written as if they are living in a English-dubbed Godzilla movie.

I suppose that Seagle was writing this issue as if the Japanese characters were speaking English, having some difficulty with the usual contractions and such, but it reads as borderline offensive.

Anyway, the two teams save the day with the help of the returned Sunfire and Alpha Flight leaves. Anyway, the structure of this story is similar to the first miniseries, as we flashback to Hiro being woken up for school and see a noticeably larger Baymax, looking more robotic than before. There, Hiro meets Tadashi's closest friends: Hiro also meets Professor Robert Callaghanthe head of the robotics program. Amazed by the students' projects, Hiro decides to enroll in the school.

With help from Tadashi and his friends, Hiro designs his own robotics project in order to gain a personal invitation via an annual exhibition. His invention, Microbotsa type of nanorobotics which he can control telepathically through a neural-cranial transmitter, impresses Callaghan, who offers Hiro an invitation to the school.

As they leave to celebrate Hiro's success, a fire suddenly breaks out in the exhibition hall. Tadashi rushes in to rescue Callaghan, who is still inside, but the building explodes moments later, apparently killing both Tadashi and Callaghan off-screen. Heartbroken over the loss of his brother and best friend, Hiro shuts himself away in his room and isolates himself from others for two weeks.

One day, Hiro accidentally activates Baymax, who responds to Hiro's cry of pain. As Hiro attempts to deactivate Baymax, he discovers a single microbot that was left in his jacket. Hiro believes its movement is due to a malfunction, but Baymax believes it is trying to go somewhere. After Hiro gives a sarcastic response, the adorably naive Baymax follows the microbot to an abandoned warehouse just as Hiro catches up. There, they discover that someone has been mass producing Hiro's microbots before they are attacked by a masked man controlling the microbots telepathically.

He can also deploy remote monitors to record events from afar. His feet are equipped with jet engines capable of generating a thrust sufficient to propel him at speeds up to Mach 4.
