Well done to all our Mixed gymnasts who have also attained their badges 8 — 5. We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable summer and look forward to seeing everyone back for a new year, new term in September. With 11 gymnasts competing, they all took their places and performed to the best of their ability. Coaches were pleased to see gymnasts work hard and compete well, encouraging each other and fulfilling individual performance goals.

Well done to all gymnasts and those who managed to get themselves placed high in the rankings. In the 10 years our 1 gymnast Macey, took 1st place and won the Level 6 Championship overall. Keep working hard and challenging yourself to improve.

Simone Biles

A major competition for all competing as the one that begins the season. A time to show off new and mastered skills. On the hunt for medals An excellent result for all. All 13 of them competing in their age group from 10 years — 15 years. We were pleased to bring home placings in all age groups and some surprises too. Well done to all the gymnasts who competed, it shows that hard work can pay off, even if it seems a long road. With 13 gymnasts being entered, they all completed performances to the best of their ability.

With some surprises and some moments of magic, coaches watched gymnasts fulfil goals and work hard to compete against the best in the county. Also Kyla managed a 2nd place and a silver medal in the overall floor final too. Well done boys and coaches for some truly fantastic performances! It was fantastic to see boys trying new skills and routines. All gymnasts passed with flying colours, distinctions for most, and some of Lincolns gymnasts managed to get on the podium.

Well done to Sophie and Lauren for smashing the competition! Girls you worked really hard up to this competition and it showed in your performances. Well done and a good start to the gymnastics season. County levels next for all. Great routines and a fantastic start to - Keep up the good work boys and coaches.

The club will re-open following the Christmas holidays on Wednesday 4th January for our first sessions of All monthly paid sessions, Freestyle and Gym Fit are due to resume from this date. The first round in the competition started with the 8 year old Level 7's and 9 year old Level 6's. Striking out on the hunt for medals Keeley took a fantastic 1st Place and the gold for her age group with Freya 4th and Catlin 6th place.

In the 9's Libby came 6th place.

Level 6 State Meet

In the 2nd round the Lincoln 7 year olds in the Level 7 and 8 year olds in the level 6 were represented. This group saw Hollie taking a brilliant 3rd place and a bronze medal in her age group overall. Some gymnasts were competing in their first county competition and all pulled out performances warranting a great start. Came the 3rd and final round of a very long day. Lincoln saw Macey storm away and take 1st place and a gold medal in her age group.

Caitlin took 2nd, Izzy took 3rd and Lucy took 4th. Overall the days competition was awesome, Lincoln saw many of the gymnasts also take home Championship individual overall places and apparatus medals from the whole days competition. Caitlin - 4th Place Overall Level 6 of the day.

Well done to all gymnasts and thank you to all parents and family members who supported their children and represented Lincoln Gym Club on the day. The club thanks the parents for supporting their children, club and coaches at this competition. Up take of these session remains good even with the dark nights drawing in. Circuits vary each week to include cardio, exercises and an intense last 15 min burst at the end of the session.
