Multiple Romances[ edit ] As the player, you can attempt to role-play a polyamorous character to an extent, but none of the NPCs will reciprocate. You can flirt with as many characters as you wish subject to their preferencesbut as you complete storyline milestones, multiple suitors may confront you and ask you to make a choice.

This is most apparent just before The Final Piece storyline quest. Even if you only have one suitor, that character will usually confront you and demand to know what your intentions are. If you state that you want to be with that person, you are locked into that romance for the rest of the game.

Prior to any heavy choices like that, you can always break off a romance by speaking to your suitor in Skyhold. You must do this if you wish to pursue a serious romance with a different suitor. Just know that if you ever break off a romance, you will not be able to romance that character again for that playthrough.

Ah the bug man, he's pretty cool and a chill guy.

A lot of his romance is pretty sweet and he's a refreshing change from Kaliyo. Unfortunately his unique traits make him a little too unique and I'm not a fan of how much the story purely focuses on the Killiks in him rather than he himself. He's very different from most Bioware male romances, he's a man first and foremost. He doesn't like opening up about his emotions and feelings.

He's also the companion with the best build up to the relationship as your relationship changes from more of a simple hook up to a full fledged romance and he's nowhere near as creepy about it as Doc is.

The only issue I had with it that I remember, haven't gone on his path in 2 years was that a lot of it happened at once where you have like 10 conversations right after another so it felt a bit rushed. I'm not quite sure what it is about this relationship I enjoy so much to put it this highly. I think the romance makes her character better than without it. I view her as a fairly dull companion without her romance, but with the romance it enhances the rest of her story for me.

Its pretty good overall but the new story makes it worse. Is it so unbelievable that the Outlander would not listen to their own boyfriend at all?

But otherwise a fair bit of flexibility in morality and doesn't feel to generic or too 'world of hats'-y. I think someone will try and kill me over putting her as low as seventh place but oh well. She's a very fun companion and has a good romance path where she is slowly convinced to be in a relationship with the Warrior. My only issue with it is that she feels a bit too much like a light side romance option to counteract Jaesa's dark side romance.

Deciding between this and the fifth spot was really difficult. Jorgan is a pretty swell dude after the prologue and the romance hits all the right cues and gets a great pacing, its not too rushed nor is it to slow. You feel a more pronounced change in Jorgan over the course of the romance and that is pretty cool. In my opinion, the best male romance in the game. He's a great partner to the Bounty Hunter and compliments her whether she's Dark or Light sided, very few romances have this level of flexibility and he still feels like he has a distinct personality which sets him out from others.

She is a great romance option for either gender, but I would say stick to a force class or Imperial Agent when romancing her, they feel like they have the best fit with her overall but that's just my opinion. I also think she gets by far the most amount of screen time compared to the other KotFE romances which certainly swings this in her favour. This felt like a good, much more mature and realistic romance than a lot of the other romances.
